Bathroom Remodels Built for Vero Beach Homes
Discount Tub and Shower is an owner-led business right here in Vero Beach that specializes in tubs and showers. Barbara Cullinane built the business around Sentrel Bath Systems, a non-porous acrylic wall panel made for places exactly like ours. No pressure, no obligation. Just an honest look at your space.
Why Vero Beach Bathrooms Are Their Own Challenge
Living this close to the water comes with a cost most homeowners do not see until it is too late. Humidity does not take a season off here. It sits in your bathroom year-round, and it feeds mold and mildew wherever it finds a seam. Traditional tile gives it plenty of places to settle — grout lines, corners, the gaps behind a worn surround.
That is the core problem Sentrel solves. No grout lines. No porous surfaces. Nowhere for moisture to hide. On a barrier island like Riomar, The Moorings or John's Island, where salt air works on everything, a seamless acrylic wall simply holds up better and asks less of you over time.
The housing here is a mix, and the fix is rarely one-size-fits-all. Older homes near the Osceola Park Historic Residential District and McAnsh Park often have tight, dated bathrooms with cast-iron tubs and tile that has seen decades of damp. Newer builds out toward Grand Harbor and the mainland neighborhoods have their own layouts and their own water concerns. We have worked on enough of both to know what a space can and cannot handle before any demo begins.
There is also the practical side. Many Vero Beach neighborhoods sit inside HOA communities, and some projects need the right paperwork before work starts. We will walk you through what applies to your home — so there are no surprises halfway through.

Local, Reliable, and Nearby
Barbara is not driving in from somewhere else. This is her community — the same Vero Beach you know, from Riverside Park and the Museum of Art to Humiston Beach and the shops out at the Vero Beach Outlets. When you call, you reach a business based right here in Vero Beach.
That matters when the work is in your bathroom and the clock is ticking. Most jobs are finished in one to two days. We work efficiently, keep your home clean, and get out of your way — without cutting corners. The price you are quoted at the estimate is the price you pay, with no hidden fees — unless we find unforeseen problems once the walls are opened up, which can happen.
Whether you are in Vero Isles, Royal Park, Rock Ridge or anywhere across the 32960 and 32963 ZIPs, the answer starts the same way: an honest assessment of your space and your options, before you commit to anything.
